Torchies are a great source of heat or light for your campout, backyard BBQ, wedding or event. Their natural aroma is wonderful, and they are an effective bug-repellant, too! They’ll add the perfect aroma and ambiance to any special event, any time of year.

 

Single-log torches, sometimes called Swedish-torches, have been around for centuries, and were originally used as a heat and light source in ancient Scandinavia. Today, Old Wood brings you the only naturally aromatic single-log torch on the market, sure to enhance your every outdoor or indoor fire experience.

 

Pre-drilled with a hole on the front and a hole on the top, Torchies create their own draft, which pulls the flame up through the center of the log, burning it form the inside out. The tops are beveled and sanded, creating a clean and elegant look. Each Torchie is fitted with a sturdy hemp handle so that it can be easily carried before it’s lit. Every Torchie has been triple heat-treated to assure that it is fully dried and lights quickly, and they come with two all-natural firestarters.

 

Though our Torchies are a totally natural product and may vary in size from piece to piece, every Torchie should burn well for 2-4 hours. They are approximately 8” in length, and 4-6” in diameter.
